Elijah Aniete, a suspect paraded by the police for alleged fetish practices, has explained the items found in his church.

Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV, Aniete disclosed that when the police entered his church, they saw a casket, a small box, and a native pot. He revealed that the native pot was used to prepare herbal medicine, which he drank after undergoing a medical operation.
He further explained that the casket found in the church was not for any illegal purpose but was used for deliverance activities.
Aniete insisted that the items were for personal and religious use, not for any fetish practices as alleged.
In Elijah Aniete’s words:

“What they saw when they came to my church was one of the caskets, a small box, and a native pot, which I use in cooking medicine to drink because I went for an operation. They told me I should use this to cook medicine and be drinking. The casket was used for deliverance.”
The case has sparked debate, with some defending Aniete’s explanation while others remain skeptical about the true nature of the items found in his church.
